FIONA WAIN ORATION 2020
4:30PM – 6:00PM AEDT
The Business Council for Sustainable Development Australia will be conducting the annual Fiona Wain Oration in one week. This year’s Oration looks at the issue of Australia’s place in the global sustainable development agenda – Can Australia’s Future Development be Sustainable ?
To give a unique perspective on this question the Oration Committee reached out to a number of leading Australians working overseas. The Oration will be held online and presented free of charge.

About the Fiona Wain Oration
The Oration is named in honour of Fiona Wain, BCSD Australia’s CEO during 1999 – 2010. Passing away too soon due to cancer, friends and the Board established the Oration in recognition of her contribution to public policy in Australia.
Some of us at the GlobalPSC were lucky enough to have worked with Fiona, and continue to be inspired by her and her effectiveness in elevating sustainability over the years.
